Away, Away

We will be gone for a few days. Check in again in early October for exciting details of our trip to the east coast. We have many adventures planned. We've been reading "Make Way for Ducklings" "Blueberries for Sal" "All about Minutemen" etc. Can you guess where we're going? I'll leave you with that cliffhanger.

More Disneyland

Here they are, the little princesses.
Richard is so proud of his paver. We have to find it every time we go and usually take a picture. Just in case any of you want to find it, it is in one of the sections that is close to the walk in entrance off of Katella.
This was the most "magical" day. They really felt like true princesses this day and were really starting to act like it too. (Princesses can be very bossy.)

Some of our favorite Disney pics

We've had quite a year of Disneyland. It is almost over, so I thought I would show you what we've been doing, starting last October. (Ellie was sitting in the stroller).

When we first started going to Disneyland, Ellie was pretty sure she was going to marry Mickey. She was even okay with the prospects of having mice for children. She has since decided that Mickey is way too scary and really doesn't even want to see him much anymore. I think she is very starstruck by him.

Spring Showcase

Okay, working backwards, here are some photos of the girls' dance recital last June. They were so cute. I got some really pretty studio pics done of all of them, but haven't scanned them, so I can't load them here, but Emma is a gorgeous ballerina. In fact, I didn't even take any pictures of Emma that day because part of her costume hadn't arrived yet. The tutu never made it. The dance teacher scrambled and found someone who could throw together 15 tutu's overnight. It turned out perfectly. They all looked lovely. I'll have to have her get all dressed up again and take some pictures of her.

First Day of School

Here they are on the first day of school. Aren't they cute. By the way, I think that was the last time I saw Lauren smile on her way to school.
And not to be left out, here is Ellie too.
