Okay, I stole this idea from somebody's blog that I don't even know. It looked fun, so we tried it. Here's what you do. Find some rocks and put them in the oven at 250 degrees for about 15-20 min. Then take them out and color on them with crayons. You can only do one side, but they turn out really pretty. My kids were loving it and asking for more. They wanted to go collect more rocks so we could do it again asap. Lauren took hers to school because she was so proud of them.

We are going to have to do this. The boys have been bringing home rocks they pick up on the way from school.
